FULL TIME HOTEL RECEPTIONIST
The ideal candidate for this key Receptionist position must have good computer, telephone and general communication skills and like working with the public. You will need to have a professional attitude, a flexible ' hands on' approach and be of smart appearance. Lots of energy, a sense of humour and caring for our guests is essential. Shift work is involved, working 3pm – 11pm and 7am – 3pm, including weekends, 5 days over a 7 day period.
Would suit college leaver, as full training would be given. Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage. Salary is subject to experience.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER REQUIRED
Responsible to The General Manager, to ensure hotel maintenance standards are achieved to a high quality level.
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and working order of the hotel. Working independently, as well as, with others. Responsibilities include: maintaining the exterior of the building, car park, and common areas, maintaining all equipment in guest rooms, conducting safety inspections and training the staff on safety and emergency procedures. Responding to emergencies, even if after hours.
Work with independent contractors on remodelling projects or specialist maintenance needs.
Overall maintenance including painting, carpentry and equipment kept running smoothly.
The Maintenance Manager must oversee the property grounds, public areas and the hotel's guest rooms.
Preventative maintenance must be performed to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations and be on call 24 hours each day.
Specific Duties & Activities
Common tasks include painting, electrical accessory replacements and repair, and some wiring. Respond to guest complaints or issues in a timely manner. Complete daily rounds, checking and identifying any problems
- Report to Reception for daily work sheet
- Test and record fire alarm – weekly
- To organize on instruction full fire evacuation and record 6 monthly
- Litter picking car park and garden
- Keeping front entrance swept clean
- Test and record emergency lighting – monthly
- Filling water softeners with salt – weekly
- Replacing light bulbs - daily
- Monitor heating time clocks
